Precautions on use of Zithromax
Zithromax can affect certain medical conditions or manifest negative side effects. Make sure to consult with your doctor on the use of Zithromax if you have the following conditions: - Liver disease: the use of Zithromax in this condition will lead to manifestation of increased side effects of the drug. - Kidney disease: the use of Zithromax in this condition will lead to manifestation of increased side effects of the drug. - Pregnancy: there isn’t sufficient data on the safety of Zithromax with pregnant women or its influence on the fetus. - Breast-feeding: there isn’t sufficient data on the safety of Zithromax for nursing mothers. - Children: there isn’t sufficient data on the safety of Zithromax for children less than 6 months of age with acute otitis media or community-acquired pneumonia. There is also insufficient data on the safety and effectiveness of Zithromax tablets or solution for treating pharyngitis with children less than 2 years of age. As well as on the safety and effectiveness of Zithromax injection for children less than 16 years of age.
